October, 2010: Bonenta's in-licensed technology was presented by Dr. DeCarlo at the American Society for Matrix Biology meeting in Charleston, SC.


August, 2010:  Bonenta's in-licensed core technology was published in the open-access, peer-reviewed journal BMC Biotechnology (BioMed Central).


February 25th, 2010: Bonenta Inc. held its annual joint shareholder/directors meeting at the Innovation Depot, Birmingham, Alabama.


September 13-17, 2009:  Bonenta's in-licensed technology was presented by Dr. DeCarlo at the Annual International Proteoglycan Meeting in Aix-Les-Bains, France.


May 4th, 2009:  Bonenta Inc. presented data and strategic position to the Biotechnology Association of Alabama.  Among those present at the meeting were James Greenwood, BIO president and CEO.


March 25th, 2009:  Bonenta, Inc. presented at the 2009 BIO International Convention.


February 13th, 2009:  Bonenta, Inc has hired Mr. David Jefferson to be VP for Business Development.  Mr. Jefferson is a founder of Bonenta’s parent company, Agenta Biotechnologies, Inc. and has gained experience in biotech business development over the years through negotiations with international biopharma, and Nobel prize awardees, alike.


February 5th, 2009:  Bonenta, Inc. presented its company profile to a distinguished panel of life science executives and corporate strategists at the NIH Commercialization Accelerator Program in Cambridge, MA organized by the Larta Institute.


September 7th, 2008:  Bonenta, Inc., has been accepted into the NIH 2008-2009 SBIR Commercialization Assistance Program (NIH-CAP).  The CAP, now in its fifth year, is designed to help some of the nation’s most promising life science small companies develop their commercial businesses and transition their SBIR-developed products into the marketplace.  Dr. DeCarlo, CEO of Bonenta, Inc., is representing Bonenta, Inc. in this prestigious program.


September 1, 2008:  Agenta Biotechnologies, Inc., a platform technology company addressing unmet needs in wound healing and tissue regeneration, formed a subsidiary focused on bone healing, named Bonenta, Inc.  Bonenta’s lead product candidate is a co-activator for bone growth factors enabling rapid and effective bone regeneration with a significantly improved safety profile addressing current market needs.
